Learning experience

The course instructional design has really challenged me in my quest to lecture at the university.I had always thought that having a mastery over the subject matter was the only important factor to consider in such an endeavour. However, after taking this course to this far I have come to the realisation that more have to done apart from having a mastery over the subject matter. It is therefore my opinion that all processes involved in the teaching and learning process be given equal weights. Especially the elements in instructional design which cannot be changed(learners and objectives).
